You’re ready for real healing and not months of talking in circles. 〰️

Does This Sound Familiar?

  • You talked it out, gained insight, maybe even felt some relief, but when stress hits the same old reactions take over.

  • You understand the story, but the emotional weight hasn’t lifted. It still shows up in your body and how you relate to others.

  • Your exhausted from holding it all together for everyone else, but deep down you’re craving a way to finally feel at ease with yourself.

You’ve done the work. Maybe you’ve journaled, meditated, read all the self-help books. Maybe you’ve even gone to therapy and gained insight. But no matter how much you “understand” your story, stress keeps pulling you back into the same old reactions: the racing thoughts, the tight chest, the stomach knots, the exhaustion from holding it all together.

If you’re nodding your head, your nervous system is just tired of surviving. And that’s exactly why EMDR Intensives can help

When talking it out isn’t enough, EMDR Intensives give you focused time to release what’s stuck and reconnect with yourself.

What EMDR Intensives Can Help With

Whether you’re dealing with old wounds or current stress, EMDR intensives meet you where you are. My clients use intensives to:

  • Release old beliefs like “I’m too much” or “I’m a burden.”

  • Heal childhood wounds and attachment pain that still echo in adult relationships.

  • Process grief, heartbreak, or painful life transitions.

  • Quiet anxiety, overthinking, and perfectionism.

  • Let go of people-pleasing and the pressure to hold it all together.

  • Reduce the emotional charge around raw or triggering memories.

Your nervous system doesn’t need more “coping.” It needs a safe, sustained window of healing so you can release what’s been stuck.

What Makes EMDR Intensives Different

The difference isn’t just the length of time…it’s the depth of focus.

In weekly sessions, we often spend much of the hour catching up, managing logistics, and just beginning to touch the edges of your deeper pain. Intensives are different:

  • We create a structured container. Instead of piecing together fragments week by week, you get a dedicated block of time to stay with what’s coming up.

  • We follow your nervous system. Some clients spend most of the intensive building regulation skills and safety anchors. Others are ready to dive into memory reprocessing. Many do both. There’s no “wrong” way. We let your body guide the pace.

  • We focus on integration. Healing isn’t just about what happens in session. Every intensive includes preparation and follow-up so you can carry your breakthroughs into daily life.

This is why clients often tell me: “I got more relief in one intensive than I did in months of therapy.

Whether you’ve tried therapy before or you’re brand new to trauma work, EMDR intensives offer a focused, compassionate path forward.

Unlike traditional talk therapy that can feel slow or repetitive, intensives give your nervous system the sustained space it needs to release what’s stuck.

I offer EMDR Intensives online for women across California who are ready for real change, whether that’s healing childhood wounds, breaking free from people-pleasing, or finally finding relief from anxiety and overwhelm.

If you’ve been searching for intensive trauma therapy in California or wondering if there’s a way to break through patterns weekly sessions haven’t touched, this is your place. Together, we’ll find the rhythm (whether one focused day or a series of sessions) that helps you move forward with clarity, confidence, and calm.

And if an intensive doesn’t feel right, ongoing weekly therapy may be a better fit, we’ll talk about what makes the most sense for you.

What Makes EMDR Intensives Different

How It Works

Every EMDR Intensive includes three parts:

1. Consultation & Planning

We clarify your goals, history, and readiness. You’ll leave this step knowing what to expect and feeling supported every step of the way.

2. Intensive Session(s)

This is where the focused work happens. We create space for resourcing, reprocessing, and integration (all paced to your nervous system).

3. Integration Session

Healing doesn’t stop when the intensive ends. We meet again to help you anchor insights, regulate your nervous system, and translate breakthroughs into everyday life.

Invest In Your Healing

I know EMDR intensives are a bigger investment upfront than weekly sessions. But here’s the truth: they often create shifts in days that could take months with weekly therapy.

That means less circling the same stories, more time actually living the changes you’ve worked so hard for.

For many women, this approach not only saves time and money in the long run, it creates relief and clarity that ripple into every part of life.

Why Work With Me?

I’m Olivia Lavelle, LCSW, EMDR therapist, and emotional intelligence coach. I specialize in helping high-achieving women who look “put together” on the outside but feel anxious, exhausted, and disconnected on the inside.

What makes me different? I don’t just know trauma from books…I’ve lived it, healed it, and now I guide others through it without shame or judgment. My clients often say: “I finally feel seen and validated.” That’s the space I create for you.

My approach blends EMDR therapy, somatic and trauma-informed care, and emotional intelligence. Together, we’ll help you:

  • Listen to what your emotions are trying to tell you.

  • Calm your nervous system when it feels hijacked.

  • Stop carrying the weight of everyone else’s needs.

Choosing an EMDR intensive isn’t about rushing. It’s about giving your nervous system the focused space it needs to heal in a safe, contained way.

For many clients, this approach, not only saves time and money in the long run, but also creates relief and clarity that ripple out into every part of life.

FAQs about EMDR Intensives

If you have more questions have a look at the FAQ page or reach out.

  • Yes. You don’t need to have previous EMDR experience. We’ll start with preparation and safety-building practices before any reprocessing. You’ll be supported every step of the way.

  • Nope. Some clients come in with a clear memory or belief they want to target, like “I’m not enough” or “I always get left.”

Others just know something feels heavy, but they can’t name it. That’s okay, that’s why I am here. I’ll guide you through identifying what your system is ready to work through, even if you don’t have the words yet.

  • Yes! Some clients prefer to split their intensive across two shorter sessions in the same week, especially if they’re new to EMDR or find long sessions tiring.

You’ll still receive the full 3 hours of healing time, just spread out in a way that feels more manageable for your nervous system. We’ll talk about what works best for you during your consult call.

  • An EMDR intensive isn’t meant to heal your entire life story in one session. Instead, it gives you focused time and support to process something meaningful: a stuck memory, a painful belief, or a moment you keep replaying that still carries emotional weight.

You might leave feeling clearer, lighter, or more grounded in your body. You might notice something that used to trigger you… doesn’t. That’s a big win. But just like all trauma work, healing happens in layers and that’s normal.

This is deep work. Sometimes things rise to the surface after an intensive, which is why integration is built in so you don’t walk away raw, but resourced.

You won’t be expected to finish everything. You will be supported in moving through something important.

  • Healing is at one and done. Some clients feel big relief, others using intensive as one step in their longer journey.

  • We’ll slow down and spend as much time resourcing as you need.

  • Yes. For Half-Day and Multi-Day EMDR Intensives, you can reserve your spot with 50% at booking and pay the remaining 50% seven days before your intensive begins. If you’re booking within 7 days of your intensive, the full balance is due at booking. Mini-Intensives (90-min or 3-hr) are due in full at booking.

  • Life happens, I get it. If you need to reschedule, your payment simply rolls over to a new date. I don’t offer refunds for intensives, but I do make sure you’re supported in finding a new time that works.
